Winter 2025 Registration is now open.

The Winter Workshop Series is a generative workshop for writers of any level. This year the workshop is divided into three sessions on poetry and three sessions on prose (fiction and nonfiction). You can pick and choose sessions or register for all six.

Each genre set will focus on a few inter-connected themes. We’ll look at examples based on the themes and complete 2-3 exercises each Saturday. We’ll save 10-15 minutes or so near the end for questions and further discussion.

When & Theme:

Poetry: these sessions will focus on imagery, movement, and the poetic line. Cost: $15 per session or $40 for all three poetry workshops.

Prose (fiction and nonfiction): these sessions will focus on character, voice, and point of view. Cost: $15 per session or $40 for all three prose workshops.
February 1              
February 15              
February 22              

Cost:

Pick and choose: $15 per session
All three workshops in a genre (poetry or prose) $40
All six workshops total: $75

Each session will be from 9:30-11am via Zoom
